1) How would you describe the population distribution around Australia? The Aboriginals mostly chose to live around on the borders of Australia.
2) What are the features of these areas that make them desirable to live? They have a large supply of water from the ocean and are able to hunt from the ocean and on land.
3) What year do you imagine this map would represent (roughly)? 20,000 years ago.
4) How does the pre-colonisation map of distribution compare with the present day Australian population distribution (indigenous + non-indigenous)? It is minor in comparison to non indigenous citizens.
5) On your map what are the locations of the highest density of population? What has formed in these areas? The most dense places on the map are the borders possibly because there is water and food and you can hunt in the ocean.
6) What are the prerequisites for building a city? The prerequisites for building a city are shelter, factory’s making food and clean running water.
7) What are some of the benefits of living in a city? Some of the benefits of living in the city is having more opportunity’s and more freedom also having shelter, food and water.
8) What are some of the detriments? Some detriments of living in the city may be the cost of some homes and foods and also the life style may be different to what you like.
